Welcome

Welcome to Garden City Community College Residential Life!

We are glad that you have chosen the residence halls at Garden City Community College. For some, this will be the first time away from home and we want to make this experience enjoyable for you in every way possible. You will find that education in college is very valuable, but your residential life experience will be priceless. There are five different on-campus residence hall options that 494 students call home.

Advantages of living on campus include wireless internet access, AC/heat in all rooms, free laundry facilities, monthly activities, and live in professional staff as well as Resident Assistants (RA) available in each housing option. Living on campus gives you the opportunity to become more involved in campus activities and meet more people that share your interests.

If you have not applied for admission, please complete an application for admission here or contact the Admissions office at 620-276-9608.

For a room reservation to be secured, you must complete the entire step by step housing application process. You can start a new application or complete an existing one by clicking on Housing Application in the header above. A new application is required each academic year.

Accommodations: Facilities are available to meet the needs of residents requiring ADA specialized housing. Residents requiring special accommodations should contact the Office of Disabilities Services at 620-276-9638.

The Residential Life staff is looking forward to an outstanding year with you on campus!

GO BUSTERS!

Upon checking into the residence hall each student will be required to sign an acknowledgement that they understand they will be held FULLY RESPONSIBLE for all information contained within the Residential Life Policy Handbook. A paper copy of the handbook can be requested from the Residential Life Office. You can also find the Residential Life Handbook on the bottom of our Housing wedpage.

The mission of the Residential Life department is to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment by centering on resident needs and supporting their academic experience.
